This morning in church the pastor mentioned a book called One Thousand Gifts by Anne Voskamp. The author decided to write down one thousand things she was thankful for. For various reasons, I was inspired to do the same. By posting this I'm hoping to be held accountable to completing the list, and I'm inviting whoever would like to, to join me.

The plan is to complete the list in one year or less. To break it down, that's 250 per quarter, or about 3 to 4 items a day. At the end and through the process, perhaps noticing the things that are good can aid in understanding the things that are not.

Or to be perfectly honest, just make me a happier, more positive person.

        1. I love this idea. My college roommate and I kept a running list of things we were thankful for in a little journal we called "Christine and Becky's Happy Book." That was almost 20 years ago, and it was an exercise well worth repeating!
